BetaPr provided public outreach services for the Federal Highway Administration and National Park Service (NPS) on a road improvements project within the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

Public involvement efforts commenced with the design, production, and distribution of a project notification flier. The notification flier served as both a project information piece, as well as a community meeting invitation.

Following the mailing, BetaPr performed door-to-door outreach throughout the park to ensure all stakeholders were aware of the project and invited to the community meeting. BetaPr then hosted a community meeting in conjunction with the NPS to provide stakeholders with additional project details, as well as the means to stay connected throughout the project. Further efforts included the release of NPS eNewsletters and maintaining a 24/7 Project Hotline. To accompany each detour, BetaPr designed and produced detailed detour maps that were released via the NPS website in conjunction with the newsletters.
